Overview
‘Glimpses of Mewar in Rajasthan Tour’, will give you a chance to explore Rajasthan culture along with the glorious history of the Royalty of the Maharajas of Jaipur through the forts, palaces and other monuments. Apart from history, the state is also known for its vibrant culture and tradition. While travelling to Rajasthan you can still feel that its vast history spread over the entire state. The duration of the tour is 06 nights and 07 days, covering the major cities of Rajasthan such as Jaipur, Chittorgarh, Udaipur and Mt. Abu. Read the itinerary for further details.
Itinerary
Day 1. Arrival in Jaipur
The capital of Rajasthan and largest city of the state, Jaipur, it seeks to combine the modern with the ancient and gleaming malls with resplendent palaces and forts. It is one of the most popular tourist destination of India. Behind its pink crenelated walls, you will find the original old city that’s dates back to the 18th century.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 2. Jaipur Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing in Jaipur. Visit main attractions of Jaipur including Hawa Mahal, The palace was designed for the royal women, so that they could see the festivals of the city without coming out of the palace. It was built of red and pink sandstone. You can get the best Rajasthani handcraft, clothing, souvenirs, jewelry etc nearby Hawa Mahal, do some sopping here,
City palace complex is located within the heart of Jaipur, which includes the Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal palaces and other buildings. It was built by Sawai Jai Singh II between 1729 and 1732 AD. You may also visit Jantar Mantar Observatory this monument was built by Sawai Jai Singh, which is listed UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visit Jal Mahal, located at Man Sagar Lake, this fort was built in the 18th century and feels equally haunting and enchanting. Other spots to be visited are Amer Fort, About 11 kilometer north of the Jaipur city center Amber Fort Palace is located. It is the main attraction of Jaipur. Amber was the capital of the Kachhwaha Rajputs for 700 years.
After sightseeing, return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3. Jaipur-Chittorgarh (6 hours drive)
After breakfast, drive to Chittorgarh. Chittorgarh is historically very significant for the Rajputs and has given birth to some of the greatest Rajput warriors. It is also known as the land of devotion and strength.
Upon arrival, check into hotel. After freshen up, proceed to the city tour of Chittorgarh. The highlight of the tour is Chittorgarh Fort Padmini palace and the Rana Kumbha palace, various gates such as Hanuman Pol, Ganesh Pol and the Laxman Pol, towers like Vijay Stambh and the Kirti Stambh and shrines inside.
After sightseeing, back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4. Chittorgarh-Udaipur (3 hours drive)
Today after having the breakfast, proceed to Udaipur, located at a distance of 325 km from Pushkar. Udaipur is also known as “City of Lakes”. The city has clean lakes dotted with isles, which are decorated with ancient forts and palaces.
Upon arrival in Udaipur, check in at the hotel. Relax for a while, then proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour to Udaipur. Firstly explore the Lake Pichola. This is the renowned lake of Udaipur, surrounded by green hills and beautiful forts in the backdrop. Later, proceed to Fateh Sagar Lake, which has a well-known park which is also called as Nehru Park. It is an amusement park, with zoo and restaurant. The best fort of all, City Palace Complex is to be visited next. City Palace Complex reflects Indo-Aryan style of architecture. In the evening, explore the Gulabh Bagh, which is spread over 100 acres of area with a variety in roses and other beautiful flowers. Return to the hotel at late evening. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 5. Udaipur-Mt. Abu (4 hours drive)
After having early breakfast, drive to Mount Abu. This beautiful town is the homestead to lakes, rivers, forests and waterfalls, it is the only hill station in Rajasthan.
Upon reaching at Mount Abu, check in at the hotel. Rest day is free at leisure. In the evening you can enjoy breathtaking view of the sunset at Sunset Point and Guru Shikhar. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6. Mt. Abu
Post breakfast proceed for sightseeing in Mt. Abu. Visit the most popular Dilwara Jain temple which is carved with intricate marble stone crafts, Brahmakumari Spiritual, pristine Nakki Lake, relish the wonderful view of sunset at Sunset View point. After sightseeing return back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 7. Mt. Abu- Abu train station/ Udaipur airport
